FEATURED STORIES

The activity, dubbed as “10th Moonwalk: A Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness,” is an advocacy campaign focused on early screening and detection of breast cancer through monthly breast self-examination and mammography, especially for women aged 20 and beyond.

The Eduardo J. Aboitiz Cancer Center (EJACC) of Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. calls on the public to join the walk from Fuente Osmeña Circle to Plaza Independencia in downtown Cebu City.

City Councilor Leah Japson, chair of the committee on health, women and children, is also set to deliver a message at the Fuente Osmeña Circle.

A portion of Osmeña Boulevard that leads to the Plaza Independencia will be closed to traffic by the City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to give way to the participants.

An added attraction is the “pinkiest” costume contest Pink Yourself Up!, which is open to all the participants.
