MANILA, Philippines— Former Chief Justice Renato Corona feels vindicated by the speech of Senator Jinggoy Estrada who mentioned in a privilege speech that senators who convicted him received P50-million “allotment.”

I am thanking God for the vindication granted on me on this day),” Corona said in a statement sent to reporters Wednesday.

He said he was not surprised by the revelation made by Estrada saying the senator only confirmed what they knew even before.

(The truth will come out. The untold story made by Estrada showed that my ouster was unconstitutional.)

He also thanked members of the media who reported about the alleged bribe despite the massive demolition job against him.
