ALA-Cobra Luzon Tour boxing starts tomorrow

THE ALA-Cobra Tunay na Lakas Luzon Tour will kick off tomorrow night at the Mandaluyong Sports Complex in Mandaluyong City.

The fight card will be spearheaded by the match between Tiger Gym’s Rene Bestodio and Empire Boxing Gym’s Jonel Alivio.

Bestodio sports a 15-5-5 (win-loss-draw) record with five wins by knockout. Alivio, on the other hand, holds a record of 16-16-4 with eight KOs.

There will also be five other matches to be feautured in the fight card. Bestudio’s stablemate Jimmy Aducal and Argie Toquero will battle out in the co-main event in the super bantamweight division.

FEATURED STORIES

JC Francisco and Dexter Dimaculangan will lead the action in the undercard as they collide in the 108-pound division for six rounds while Jesame Dela Cerna and Richard Claveras will square off in the 112-pound division for eight rounds.

Robin Dingkong and Joel Lumangcag will fight in the 118-pound division for four rounds while Philip Louis Cuerdo and Roderick Naduma will kick off the fights in the 105-pound division for four rounds. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
