By |

MANILA, Philippines—Traffic remained heavy in portions of C5 Road after a delivery truck rammed into a U-Turn slot early morning Tuesday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said.

In a phone interview with Banjo Petisanan of MMDA-Metrobase at around 11 a.m., he said traffic remained heavy on the southbound lane along Ateneo de Manila University to Libis flyover and Ortigas Avenue to Bagong Ilog.

On the northbound lane, slow movement of traffic was recorded from Binifacio Global City to Bagong Ilog, as well as at Green Meadows to Libis.

The dump truck loaded with sand hit the wall of the U-Turn slot at C5 Kalayaan at around 5 a.m.

No one was hurt, but the accident caused heavy traffic.

Petisanan said the vehicle was removed from the area at around 9 a.m.
