CAMP VICENTE LIM, LAGUNA–Police are still looking for the vehicle owned by a senior advertising agent, who was found dead under a bridge in Silang, Cavite over the weekend.

Senior Police Officer 1 Eric Ambojia of the Silang police station said a resident found a dead body of a woman below the 20-foot high Tibagan bridge in Barangay (village) Sabutan around 6 a.m. on Saturday. The body turned out to be that of 25-year-old Kristelle Davantes, a senior account manager at the McCann Worldgroup Philippines Inc., who was earlier reported as missing.

The victim’s mouth was gagged with a handkerchief and her hands tied with the car’s seatbelt when found by the riverside. Police investigators believed she was strangled to death using a piece of electric wire found on the scene. Results of the autopsy showed no signs of sexual assault.

In a phone interview Monday, Ambojia said a security guard last saw Davantes on her car, a Silver 2011 model Toyota Altis, in her office’s parking lot at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City around 1 a.m. Saturday. Davantes was a resident of Las Piñas City.

“We believe she was abducted and killed elsewhere before the body was dumped here (in Cavite). We are also looking at more than one suspect here,” Ambojia said.
