Man survives attempt on life

A 35-YEAR-OLD man was shot by his neighbor in barangay Casay, Dalaguete town, southern Cebu.

Jose Biceril was wounded in the back.

The alleged assailant, Rex Caballes, fled after the incident.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack.

Police said Biceril was heading home from a videoke bar Tuesday night when he was waylaid.

A wounded Biceril ran home and was later brought to a hospital.
