3 teens killed as motorcycle rams truck in Aurora



CABANATUAN CITY, Philippines–Three teenaged girls died while another was injured when their motorcycle rammed a dump truck in San Luis town in Aurora province on Wednesday, police said.

Police field reports said Kathlyn Sagala, 17,  Kimberly Abriam, 15,  Novelyn Budoy, 17,  and Norie Anne Budoy, 15, were on their way home to the Aurora capital of Baler, some 7 kilometers from San Luis, when they met the accident in Barangay Bacong on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Sagala, Abriam and Novelyn Budoy died instantly while Norie Anne Budoy was taken to a local hospital.

The truck driver, Dionisio Rebolido, 47, was detained at the San Luis police station.
