Classes in PUP Sta. Mesa suspended

MANILA, Philippines – Afternoon classes in all levels in PUP Sta Mesa, Manila are suspended due to heavy rain induced by Tropical Depression “Maring”, school authorities said Saturday.

Maring entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility Saturday and as of 10 a.m. was observed some 270 kilometers northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, packing peak winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
