MANILA—Major sellers of liquefied petroleum gas raised their prices on Thursday to reflect movements in the international market.

In a text advisory, Petron said it raised its LPG price by P1.55 per kilogram (excluding VAT) at 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 1.

Solane, formerly known as Shellane, raised its gas prices by P1.50/kg at 6 a.m.

As of last week, LPG was priced from P617 to P745 per 11-kg cylinder, according to the Department of Energy.

The increase in LPG prices followed a rollback in gasoline prices over the weekend.
