2 more CDO blast victims die
MANILA, Philippines – The number of fatalities in the blast that occurred at Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City last Friday rose to eight, police said on Monday.
Superintendent Graciano Mijares, city police director, confirmed through text that two more victims died while being treated.
A twitter post from Dr. Tony Leachon, (@LeachonTony) vice president of Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) said Dr. Marciano Agustin, 47, died around 6:15 a.m. Monday at the intensive care unit of Cagayan de Oro Hospital.
A radio report, on the other hand, identified the other fatality as Reynaldo Dalupan, a Unilab employee.
Six were initially killed when an explosive device went off at a restaurant in Limketkai Center around 11 p.m. Friday.
