Congress adjourns after Aquino’s speech

MANILA, Philippines—The joint session of the 16th Congress adjourned with the banging of the gavels by Senate President Franklin Drilon and House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte on Monday afternoon.

This shortly after President Benigno Aquino III delivered his fourth State of the Nation Address.
