MANILA, Philippines — Two children are missing after the vehicle they were riding on their way to school was allegedly stolen by still unidentified suspects in Quezon City early Friday, police said.
Quezon City Police District station 5 said the incident happened at Regalado Avenue near Commonwealth General Hospital around 6 a.m. after armed men took the green Mitsubishi Adventure (ZGK 141).
A Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said the vehicle was being driven by one Cirillo Villa to take the children, who have not been identified, to a school in Fairview when a white Mitsubishi Montero Sport shot at the vehicle’s side mirror.
When Villa stopped to check the damage, four armed men went down from the Montero Sport and took the vehicle with the children.
