CIT-U wins poster making contest

THE Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) won first place in the just-concluded “On-the-spot poster and slogan making contest” conducted by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of the Visayas main campus in downtown Cebu City.

Gabriel Bautista and Fritz Hoyle, third year high school students of Cebu Institute of Technology, bested their rivals from the Abellana National School and the University of the Philippines, which placed second and third respectively.

Other schools that participated in the high school competition last June 25 were the University of the Visayas, University of Cebu, University of Southern Philippines-Foundation, Southwestern University, Cebu Eastern College, University of San Carlos-North Campus, St. Theresa’s College and Cebu City National Science High School.

The awarding of winners will be held at the Ecotech Center in sitio Sudlon, barangay Lahug, Cebu City on July 10.
