Del Rosario, Bello meet on ‘sex for fly’ cases

MANILA, Philippines — Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario on Wednesday met with Akbayan Partylist Representative Walden Bello over allegations tagging officials of the Philippine Embassy to sexual exploitation of overseas Filipino workers (OFW).
Del Rosario arrived at the House of Representatives at around 11 a.m. and is now in a closed door meeting with Bello, who led the House overseas workers’ affairs panel in the 15th Congress.
Bello on Tuesday bared information on three Philippine Embassy officials allegedly involved in “sex for fly” cases in the Middle East.
