Cops nab man with gun in Talisay
A 27-YEAR-old man was arrested for carrying a gun in a police checkpoint in sitio Dawis, barangay Tabunok, Talisay City last Sunday.
Ritchie Daan, of barangay Tangke, Talisay City was caught with a loaded .45 pistol in his bag.
Police flagged Daan on his motorcycle but Daan instead turned and fled. The police gave chase which ended when Daan crashed his bike but not before throwing his belt bag at the side of the road.

Police later found the gun inside the belt bag.
Daan was detained at the Talisay Police Station pending the filing of charges./Correspondent Gabriel C. Bonjoc
