9 hurt as bus falls on its side on NLEX

MANILA, Philippines — Nine passengers were injured when a bus fell on its side along the southbound lane of the North Luzon Expressway early Thursday.
Chris Natividad of NLEX traffic control room said the incident, involving a Partas bus, happened a kilometer away from the Bocaue exit of the expressway around 7:23 a.m.
She said nine passengers were injured and were rushed to a hospital in Bocaue.
A radio report said the driver appeared to be sleepy which caused him to loose control of the vehicle.
However, Natividad said authorities have yet to confirm this information as investigation was still ongoing.
Meanwhile, she said the flow of traffic wasn’t affected as the bus went on a stop along the shoulder.
