Kris Aquino joins Team PNoy bets in General Santos

GENERAL SANTOS CITY–Popular TV host Kris Aquino joined the campaign here of two Team PNoy senatorial candidates, which started with a motorcade early Thursday morning.
It was the first time that Aquino, youngest sister of President Benigno Aquino III, joined the provincial sorties of re-electionist Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero and former Movie Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) chair Grace Poe since the campaign period started last February.
For several weeks before the campaign period, Escudero appeared as guest co-host in Kris’ morning show with ABS-CBN.
Escudero is also a known friend of the President even when they were still members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
Immediately after they arrived at the airport here past 7 a.m., Kris, Escudero and Poe proceeded with the motorcade and media hopping.
From this city, the three will go to Davao City for a campaign rally.
