7 hurt as passenger bus hits rear of truck on SLEX, says official

MANILA, Philippines—Seven people were injured when a passenger bus hit the rear of a 10-wheeler truck along the South Luzon Expressway early Wednesday.

Rona Saburin of SLEX Traffic control said the incident at the southbound lane on Southwoods Ecocentrum in Binan, Laguna happened around 6:10 a.m.

Saburin said the RRCG bus rammed the rear of the 10-wheeler truck loaded with sand.

A radio report said at least seven passengers from the bus were injured, including its conductor.

Traffic in the area was heavy following the accident but normalized after the two vehicles were taken out of the area at 8:49 a.m., SLEX said.

clearly following too close yan kaya bumangga sa likuran ng truck…maraming driver ang gumagawa nyan..slex man o nlex…tututukan ka halos the push you out of the way ganyan yang mga barumbado at walang disiplinang drivers, lalo na yung mga bus drivers…

Correct.

every day news unfortunately we all know how buses are driven but what is done about it??? Absolutely nothing. Shameful.

… and tragic. The LTFRB and LTO should consider implementing a separate points-based PUV drivers’ license and a separate bus drivers’ license. After a certain amount of points, may penalties leading up, ultimately, to revocation.

inaantok karamihan sa bus drivers kaya ayan.
