Rama said claimed that the crowd showing during the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) party Cebu proclamation Rally on February 6 and the Team Rama proclamation rally on April 6 was proof of the Cebuanos support for his group.

About 25, 000 showed up during the two rallies.

Meanwhile, Comelec provincial election officer Ferdinand Gujilde however cautions the public on the impact of surveys as this could lead to conditioning the minds of the voters on the outcome of the May 13 election.

“It has this bandwagon effect that could draw people in voting the leading candidates in this said election surveys,” said Guijilde.

However, he said that this does not stop the people in conducting such surveys because it is part of the freedom of expression thus it entitles any institution to conduct such polls./Chief of Reporters Doris C. Bongcac and intern Apple Ta-as
