MANILA, Philippines— A 19-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed dead a vendor in Manila before dawn Monday, police said.

Manila Police District (MPD)-Homicide Division said suspect Jesus Lomayno Jr. was arrested in a follow-up operation after he allegedly stabbed vendor Moreno Raymundo, 34 along Malate, Manila around 12 midnight.

Based on a report from homicide investigator, Senior Police Officer 1 Charles John Durano, a heated argument between the two might have prompted Lomayno to attack Raymundo.
