The stories of 2 brothers suspected in US bombing

In this undated photo provided by Robin Young, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, left, and Here & Now host Robin Young’s nephew, right, pose for a photo after graduating from Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. Tsarnaev has been identified as the surviving suspect in the marathon bombings. Two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing killed an MIT police officer, injured a transit officer in a firefight and threw explosive devices at police during a getaway attempt in a long night of violence that left one of them dead and another still at large Friday, April 19, 2013. BOSTON — Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, then a senior at a prestigious school, was awarded a $2,500 scholarship in May 2011 from the city of Cambridge, Massachusetts, to pursue higher education. Now the 19-year-old is on the run, described as “armed and dangerous” and suspected of the Boston Marathon bombing.

Two brothers from a violence-wracked Russian region, one now dead, one alive and at large. After grainy surveillance images of two men in baseball caps were released Thursday by the FBI as an appeal for the public’s help in identifying them, a portrait quickly emerged Friday of the young men suspected in the attack.

Authorities still have not mentioned any possible motive for Monday’s deadly attack, and those who know Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in the Boston area expressed shock Friday at how a bright, likeable young man had taken a violent turn.

Tsarnaev and his 26-year-old brother, Tamerlan, who was killed during a violent police chase overnight, had been living together in Cambridge, outside Boston.

An uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, who lives in a Washington suburb, told The Associated Press that the men lived together and had been in the United States for about a decade. They came from a Russian region that has been plagued by an Islamic insurgency related to separatist wars.

“My son is a true angel,” father Anzor Tsarnaev told The Associated Press by telephone from the Russian city of Makhachkala. “Dzhokhar is a second-year medical student in the U.S. He is such an intelligent boy. We expected him to come on holidays here.”

Anzor Tsarnaev added, “They were set up, they were set up! I saw it on television; they killed my older son Tamerlan.” He ended the call angrily, saying, “Leave me alone, my son’s been killed.”

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s page on the Russian social networking site Vkontakte says he attended Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, graduating in 2011, the year he won the scholarship. It was celebrated with a reception at City Hall, according to a news release issued at the time.

On the site, he describes himself as speaking Chechen as well as English and Russian. His world view is described as “Islam” and he says his personal goal is “career and money.”

On Friday, those who knew him were stunned. A host of a Boston-based public radio program, Robin Young, posted on Twitter a photo of her nephew with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, their arms around each other, at their graduation.

“Heartbreaking pic,” she wrote. A caller to the program who identified himself as a social studies teacher at the school said Tsarnaev struck him as having “a heart of gold … an all-around wonderful kid.”

Before moving to the United States, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev attended School No. 1 in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, a predominantly Muslim republic in Russia’s North Caucasus that has become an epicenter of the Islamic insurgency that spilled over from the Chechnya region.

The secretary to the principal of School No. 1 in Makhachkala, Irina Bandurina, told the AP that Tsarnaev left for the U.S. in March 2002.

Tsarnaev was registered as a student at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, the school said Friday. The campus closed down and was evacuated as police searched it.

Tsarnaev’s face became known to a global audience Thursday in the video released by the FBI, when he was identified as Suspect Number 2. Images showed him walking down a sidewalk, unnoticed by marathon spectators. He followed Tamerlan by about 10 feet (3 meters). He wore what appeared to be a gray hoodie under a dark jacket and pants, and a white baseball cap facing backward and pulled down.

Tamerlan was stockier, in khaki pants, a light T-shirt, and a dark jacket. The brim of his baseball cap faced forward, and he may have been wearing sunglasses.

On Friday, Bunker Hill Community College officials said Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a student there for three semesters: fall 2006, spring 2007 and fall 2008. Spokeswoman Patricia Brady said they had little information on him other than that he studied accounting at the Boston school.

According to the website, Tamerlan was arrested for domestic violence in July 2009, after assaulting his girlfriend.

He was an amateur boxer, listed as a competitor in a National Golden Gloves competition in 2009.

russian hates A….Muslim hates A……. combined together equals to exploding pressure cooker

    • pinoydin

Then why did they go to the U.S. if they hate it so much? US should learn from now on not to give asylum to refugees from troubled countries, especialy Muslims… let them kill one another in their own country…. if you let them in in your country, they will just turn against you….they don’t appreciate you at all….

While it is so difficult for good people who apply to immigrate to the U.S. or Canada, it is so easy for these refugees to enter these countries…and they are given the best possible care and assistance, money wise, education wise… what’s wrong with these countries? They’re giving more assistance to these refugees than to the citizens who toil to make these countries great. But what the citizens get is a kick in the a$$.

What a pity, promising young men who were deceived by their ideologies. Religions who promotes hated in whatever way should be condemned. Religion should be the center of people promoting love and peace in the whole world

  • Handiong_Haringmakabayan

There’s absolutely nothing to gain by killing innocent civilians. You are a promising young man who can absolutely do more for yourself and society. Morphing into a terrorist is just a dead end. What a waste of life.

I was held wrong that the kids were not Muslims but sad to say it broke my heart out that they were. From a troubled country of Islamic origin, suspects 1 and 2, were perhaps brainwash that Americans are the enemies and they have to fulfill the task to become martyr. They are young and vulnerable to undertake the destruction of innocent people just to satisfy the wrong objective that they are doing it for Allah. So young, intelligent, angelic looking but they deceived the people and the country that have given them the refuge for a decade. Blame it to their religious doctrine that they have to live a life of war and hatred even to the community that made their lives better and have given them opportunity for a better future. What a waste, somehow, blame is also on their elders and fellow Muslims who armed this kids with lethal mind to destroy mankind.

    • Angel Divera

      Hmmmm…. well said. =)

    • Julio7

Be careful with your opinion for blaming the religious background of the suspect/bomber. Neither the religion had nothing to do with their action nor the religious text.

No religion on the face of this planet is free from fanatical views. Countless wars have been fought in the name of someone’s god for centuries. Muslims are under no obligation to speak out against the actions of a few radicals otherwise where are all of the millions of Christians outraged over the actions of the Westboro Baptist Church?

Have we blamed the religion of Adam Lanza who shot 20 children in a cold-blooded in Sandy Hook Elementary School?

Have we blamed the religion of James Eagan Holmes for killing 12 innocent movie-goer in Aurora, Colorado?

Have we blamed the religion of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold for killing 12 students in Culumbine High School, Colorado?

I don’t want to list down all the atrocities of the criminal including Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bombing), Wade Michael Page (Sikh Temple massacre), Breivik (Norway massacre), etc just to let you know that we have not blame their origin, religious affiliation and I find it truly amazing that whether it’s White, Blacks, Latinos, the first thing that comes out of the mouths of those who claim to bleed Red, White, and Blue will point one finger on what’s wrong from within these populations, but pay NO attention to the other fingers pointing back and dismiss it as an isolated incident or called it mental illness. Truly amazing (rolls eyes)

      • Josephine Parico

“Imagine there’s no religion” – John Lennon

Actually, religion is to blame here. If the perpetrators did not subscribe to Islam or any other religion, do you think they will have reasons to carry out the attacks?

Geez, you don’t know the tenets of ISLAM and that’s why you want us not to blame it. THat’s so NAIVE of you.

      • Hurtlocker1

        Agree 100%.

      • Julio7

If that the case, then we can blame Christianity for the action taken by Hitler who killed million people on earth and US who bombed Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. We can blame Judaism for the atrocity of Israel in Palestine. We can blame Buddhism for the killing of student in Tiananmen Square.

We can blame further Christianity for the child abuse and molestation because their priest had done so.

Please tell me about the tenet of Islam that want us to kill, otherwise you are just plain ignorant and confused blaming innocent Islam for the crime of a guilty.

      • Josephine Parico

Killing non-believers is not enshrined in Christian doctrine even when you are threaten with death. While the killing of kafirs (non-believers) is deeply enshrined in Islamic doctrine. Killing is justified in Islamic society as long as it is in defense of Islam and Islamic ways of living.

This is the reason why Muslims are predisposed to be terrorist because their belief and culture permits killing and murder of non-believers.

People like you are too naive to believe that Islam is a peaceful religion. I recommend you read the Koran to understand them.

        Anyways, IGNORANCE is a BLISS.

      • ranjoranido

muslims are terrorist! mahilig sa jihad, mahilig sa maraming asawa. feeling inaapi parati, sensitive at higit sa lahat mahilig magbenta ng pirated DVD. ahahahaha

      • Julio7

Who told you that killing non-believer in Islam is enshrined in the Quran? Please give the Surah and the verse so I can explain. But I guess, you will quote me verse from the Quran out of context where all Islamophobe used to do.

For Christ sake, here are some violence that the Bible enshrined to:

Ezekiel 9:6 “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women . . . ”

Isaiah 13:16 “Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.”

Deuteronomy 13:15 “Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly . . . ”

Leviticus 20:9 “For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death . . . ”

Exodus 32:27 “. . . Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.”

Deut 21:10-12 “When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; ”

Exodus 31:15 ” . . . whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.”

Deut 21:21 “And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die”

Are those verses above familiar with you?

Well, I fully read the Quran, and in fact I found it astonishing to the follower of this religion who can memorized from cover to cover with understanding the tafsir.

“Whoever said ignorance is bliss must have died a horrible
death with a really surprised look on his face” – a famous quote.

      • Josephine Parico

There is the NEW TESTAMENT which overrides all of these. That is not the same for the Koran.

And its easy to determine that death is a culture in Muslim society.
        How? Answer this question.

Is it justifiable to kill a person who draws a picture of Muhammad? Answer me, quick!

      • Julio7

I don’t know that death is a culture in Muslim society. For Islam, there is no tooth-for-a tooth, eye for an eye, but of peace. Islam permit paying blood money for the victim while Christianity doesn’t. Islam invoke the name of God for slaughtering an animal what more for a human.

It is forbidden to kill a person who draws a picture of Muhammad. You can draw what you want. That’s is simple.

      • Josephine Parico

Al Taqiyya on the lose. There is no tooth-for-tooth principle in the Koran? Pure hogwash! How can’t it be when the Koran is just a plagiarized version of the Bible? So much for your apologism.

See? So it is OKAY to kill a person who draws the image of Muhammad. That is the death culture in your religion. Like they say, a fish can only be caught thru its mouth. You have been fished Julio7=Muhammad.

      • Julio7

        The Islamophobes on the loose.

Bring it on Josephine, show me those principle of eye-for-an-eye.

Quran is the last revelation to confirm what had been revealed in the Gospel and Torah.

It is NOT OKAY to kill just drawing the image of Muhammad.

The death culture is your culture who cannot tolerate the belief of others and spread lies and fabricate because of hatred. You will never pass the phase of spewing dribble on this site.

Maybe it’s time you found another hobby…but wait, that would mean using some brain cells. Nahhhh, stick to coming on here so I can keeping giving you a verbal hiding at will.

You are my retarded human punch-bag. It’s a schitty job, but someone must do it.

      • Josephine Parico

It is not okay? Really? Then how are you going to explain the issuance of fatwas to kill the Danish cartoonist? How are you going to explain the death of Theo Van Goh, a Dutch film-maker who was critical of Islam?

Answer me. Explain the issuance of fatwas agaisnt people who are critical of Islam.

      • Julio7

Ask directly to those who issued the fatwa. As far as Islam is concern, no Islamic Jurisprudence or Council favor for killing the Danish cartoonist. Van Goh was killed by individual who are Muslim but not killed by Islam. I hope you can differentiate between a doer and religion. Religion had nothing to with the action of the follower.

Do not label all Muslim by the act of poor and uneducated Muslim who are poor practicing Islamic teaching. The poor practice of some Muslims, and seeks to present such things as the foundational teachings of Islam is not a measurement of Islam’s teaching. The mis-interpratation of uneducated Muslim about the Quran is not the gauge of Islamic guidance. The failure of Muslim to practice what Allah’s order is not the failure of Islam. It is the failure of individual such like you, who failed to realized that not all Muslim are terrorist.

You are free to critic Islam as long as you can sustain intellectual fact but not of form transgressing the limit of decency, wisdom and civility.

      • DocNoel

No you stated the problem – it’s those “Muslims who are poorly practicing Islamic teaching”!

      • pinoydin

Then educate your Muslim brothers… and yes, not all Muslims are terrorists , but all terrorists are Muslims.

      • aris alfaro

On US bombings of Japan: Wrong analogy. The hiroshima and nagasaki bombings happened during a state of war. In a war, there is no right or wrong anymore. Besides, America did not start the war (if you know your history).

On Hitler: His motivation was to underline the supremacy of the ARYAN race. Religion was not his motivation.

On the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: Actually, their situation supports my assertion. Imagine, if these two groups are both Orthodox Christians. Do you think they will engage in genocide? The answer is NO. If they share the same religion, they will never bicker over lands.

All your assertions do not really refute my assertion that the Boston bombing is the same with 9/11. These and other attacks perpetrated by Muslims have the same denominator: ISLAM. The attackers (and previous attackers) want to destroy the secular nature of American society. They are so ENVIOUS of American society and feel sorry for ISLAM.

And this left me wondering. Why are Muslims moving to western society if they so hate it so much?

      • Julio7

It is also wrong to use the analogy for Islam because of what have done by Muslim. If bombing Nagasaki and Hiroshima is justified because there is war, then there is also war between extremist Muslim (Anti-US, but not anti-Christian) and US.

Hitler is motivated by his religion. Consider the facts below:

        a) Hitler was baptized as Roman Catholic during infancy in Austria.
        b) As Hitler approached boyhood he attended a monastery school.
        c) Hitler was a communicant and an altar boy in the Catholic Church.
        d) As a young man he was confirmed as a “soldier of Christ.” His most ardent goal at the time was to become a priest.
        e) Hitler was never excommunicated nor condemned by his church. Matter of fact the Church felt he was just and “avenging for God” in attacking the Jews for they deemed the Semites the killers of Jesus.
        f) Hitler, Franco and Mussolini were given veto power over whom the pope could appoint as a bishop in Germany, Spain and Italy. In turn they surtaxed the Catholics and gave the money to the Vatican.
        g) Hitler worked closely with Pope Pius in converting Germanic society and supporting the church. The Church absorbed Nazi ideals and preached them as part of their sermons in turn Hitler placed Catholic teachings in public education.
        h) Due to Hitler’s involvement with the Church he began enacting doctrines of the Church as law. He outlawed all abortion, raged a death war on all homosexuals, and demanded corporal punishment in schools and home. Many times Hitler addressed the church and
promised that Germany would implement its teachings: “Providence has caused me to be Catholic, and I know therefore how to handle this Church.” – Adolf Hitler, reportedly to have said in Berlin in 1936 on the enmity of the Catholic Church to National Socialism.

“Re: On the Israeli-Palestinian conflict Imagine, if these two groups are both Orthodox Christians. Do you think they will engage in genocide?” Big YES, YES and YES. Just revisit the European history starting from World War I to II, the 100-years war between England and France, Russia between Eastern Europe, etc. All these countries involved are majority Christian nations. Now, I don’t want you to drag the Crusade and the Inquisition, the war that is called in the “name of Christ”.

My assertion of Boston bombing is that is carried by a lunatic individual whose aim to see every human suffered in death either Christian, Muslim, Jews, Hindus, regardless of any race, white, black, brown and nationalities.

We cannot equate Islam to the perpetrator as we can not equate
Christianity as a follower of prostitutes and homosexual!

      • Perry Utanis

In his younger years, yes Hitler was raised and baptized as catholic but change his religious view when he became a powerful leader in Germany.Hitler believed that Christianity and Nazism were incompatible and intended to replace Christianity with a racist form of warrior paganism.
Though Hitler has respect for the great position of the Catholic Church he became hostile to its teaching.
Pope Pius the XI infuriated Hitler with his critic of Nazism and in Poland during the war he ordered a brutal repression of the Catholic Church.

In a private statements, Hitler intimate such as Albert Speer quote Hitler as saying: you see its been our misfortune to have the wrong religion why didn’t we have the religion of the Japanese who regard sacrifice for the fatherland as the highest good?, the Mohammedan religion too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity.. why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness? These are the statements of Adolf Hitler after the fact. Am i wrong to say the true nature of Hitler?

      • $26149191

How about Mao Zedong of China that killed 75 to 100 million from Christian, Muslim, and Buddhist. You missed this kind.

      • $26149191

If Christian killed it is a mental problem nothing more. If muslim killed it is their mental belief of their Religion nothing more.

      • wawa2172

Simply you are right that no religion is perfect but how can one imagine suspect 1 and suspect 2 kill innocent people for no reason at all. They were raised in the country that given them a refuge and provided treated them well by accepting them as citizen as well as providing them proper education. They carry out the bombing simple because of their belief on martyrdom as a muslim after being brainwash. Its a pity that this kids will have to suffer a wrong belief that you have to kill as a mission to please god. Christian believers are not exempted by this, but why is christian religion are not condemned when members commits mistake, why? It is because they do not use their religion as a means to kill anyone then praise the lord. Christians knows that their God do not tolerate killing.

      • Julio7

What evidence can we show that they carry the bombing because of their belief and to become a martyr? And even they accept that their cause is for the sake of Islam, is Islam/Muslim condone their act? Is Islam responsible for their act?

Why every Muslim is drag to a bashing and their religion suffered if one individual commit mistakes? Why Adam Lanza is not called terrorist and his religion is not tainted just because he killed 20 children not in the name of Christ? If he says that he killed innocent children, because Jesus told him so, are we going to charge Christianity religion and be responsible for that act?

Bottom line, there is no religion in this world that preach hatred, to kill a human being no matter what a dogma is. It is the sole responsibility of the follower/believer to behave what is necessary to be human.

True Muslims, have spoken out many times against Al Qaida, Islamist Extremist and other extreme groups that hide behind Islam in the name of Allah to perpetrate violent acts.

You’ll never see or hear about it on CNN, BBC, Fox, AFP, AP, here in INQ or any other right-wing media sources because it’s not in their interest, and after working tirelessly to paint all Muslims as anti-human, why in the world would they run a “feel good” piece that actually contradicts some of the vitriol there always spewing.

Seems to me the question of the day is: how much longer does the entire group get dogged & demonized for the few bad?

Constantly lumping them all together, the way the right always does isn’t helping anything, and it’s long overdue to end already. Let us stop blaming an innocent for the crime of the guilty.

      • Josephine Parico

Do not complain. Your religion is at fault. Acknowledge that Islam needs reform. Always come clean by turning over to authorities any Muslims who have become radicalized. Do not defend their cause and do not celebrate on the streets when terrorist attacks happens.

In these ways, you true (may ganun ba talaga?) Muslims will earn the trust of non-Muslims. Simple as that!

Now, stop defending your kind and acknowledge that Islam is a faulty religion. Acceptance is the first step in REFORMING your religion. There’s nothing good in denying the devil intentions of Islam.

      • Julio7

I am not complaining, I am against a double standard. What is due to Adam Lanza is due to Tsarnaev, therefore not implicating their religion to their act.

You miss my point here, and accused me being a supporter of a terrorist. I depend Islam because there is nothing to do with the bombing, but you twisted the argument dragging innocent Muslim and Islam to answer their act.

There is no need to reform Islam, what we need is like you who have mentality corroded and hateful of another faith and race. I see, your disease is like a virus that easily eats into your brains. We have to stop you, so you can’t spread, humiliate and infect others.

      • wawa2172

It is obvious when I said there is no such thing as perfect religion but it is worst if fanatics are brainwash to hurt or kill innocent people because of religion. The two suspects are from a troubled islamic region and islam fundamentalist. Wasted lives are unforgivable because of the so called matyrdom that I know allah is so hurting in his kingdom. You think Chirst would be happy if killing is done in his name. Again, I am a christian and have lots of muslim friends, I respect life and so do are my friends. Believing in your religion is respecting lives and not wasting it. It is pathetic that this two says that they are true islam but why waste other people lives. They are devils with angelic face so to speak.

      • Julio7

You exactly miss the point. Even the perpetrator is so religious, say Imam, Ustadz, Sheik, etc and came from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, etc – we can’t still blame Islam and bash Muslim for the sole act. They (criminal) and the countries they have doesn’t represent Islam. It is an individual act. Even they claimed martyrdom, most Islamic jurisprudence will not accept that. Who will certified them as martyr? Allah is sever in punishment and advise us that if we can save one life, it is tantamount of saving all human life and if killing one life is tantamount of killing all human life.
By the way, before we speak of brother suspect, at this point, it not yet known of their motives. So don’t judge just because of their origin and religion.

    • Noel

How the US attacked Iraq and how US treats Muslim countries cause hatred from both Muslims and non-Muslims in the world. Pay back time.

So Muslims are vengeful cretins? I thought they were peace-loving roaches?

        So much contradiction there.

Then we came back again to the saying ” Not all muslims are terrorist but all terrorist are muslims” . Do not be decieved by the looks, even Satan can make himself appear as the angel of light. The same angel that convince mohammed to write the quran.

    • Julio7

LOL! Prophet Muhammad can’t write and read, so he can’t write the Quran.

      • Eagle from davao

      • Josephine Parico

Other people can write it for him. So easy to deceive ignorant desert people.

Geez, the existence of Muhammad is not even established. There is a likelihood that he is imaginary and was used by Arabian bandits to consolidate their hold on the Arabian peninsula. That maybe the reason why representation of Muhammad is prohibited in their religion not because they want to prevent idolatry but they do not want that people find out that Muhammad is fake.

      • Julio7

Sus Ginoo Josephine, if we cannot established the existence of Muhammad, how can we establish the existence of Jesus Christ which is 650 years ahead from the birth of Muhammad.

This is only shows how ignorant you are and inclined to hate based on personal belief.

        Get some peaceful life.

      • Josephine Parico

Jesus and Muhammad are not of the same level. Wrong analogy again.Obs-obs naman nito.

      • Julio7

what kind of argument do you have?

      • Josephine Parico

They are so different because Muhammad was a CHILD-RAPIST while Jesus was not. Muhammad was a BANDIT and MURDERER while Jesus was not.

See? They are apples and oranges.

      • Julio7

That must be proven by evidence and historical fact not by nasty insulting. Engage in a critical, responsible and balanced debate. Your accusation must be proven and endow by fact not by merely lies, distortions, fabrication and outright bigotry.

You are being yelp of a hurt child, an angry adolescent, a bitter and resentful adult.

By choosing adjectives with negative connotations, you are thus bashing Islam and the messenger, albeit in an intellectually vapid and heavy-handed manner that lacks any style or finesse.

It is unfortunate that in these age such overtly bigoted, ignorant, and intellectually dishonest mind are courageously coming in the form of insulting.

      • Josephine Parico

Angry? Really? Who runs amuck when someone draws an image of Muhammad?

Geez, look no farther. Look into yourself. You are angry at our glorious and superior civilization. A civilization that you Muslims hate so much and despised. But you still benefit from it anyway.

      • Julio7

You run of cowardice when crazy Muslim run amuck. Ah hahaha…

You are a legend in the gluten for punishment ranks, Josephine.

What more do you want us to say, apart from ‘it must really suck being you’? You have no contribution to this civilization other that hating others…hahaha. The verbal beating you get on a daily basis from me, is so severe, I can feel the pain through the computer screens! Unless you go to repent and ask apology for a good Muslim who had no involvement on this issue.

I must agree, It’s a tough job, but someone to do the job.

      • aris alfaro

..that point i would like to validate. why do they react so violently? it’s like a little dis will derail(at least some of them) their already screwed mentality. i mean people can dis on buddha or jesus or even xenu or any religious icon, but when muhammad gets picked on, they react like nutcases. they even killed the grandnephew(corrections allowed) of van gogh over some doodles. rationality, dog demmet!

      • Josephine Parico

So Muhammad did not RAPED Aisha at the age of 9? Anyone can just read it on the Koran. Muhammad deflowered Aisha when she was so innocent and pure.

      • Julio7

That is fabrication. She was taken to marriage at the age of 9 and the consummation was taken at the age of 16. Liar. Liar and don’t lie, there is no word in the Quran of the life of Muhammad. This is only proved that you don’t know nothing but heard something from the anti-Muslim sites. I am used to hear that, most argument of Anti-Muslim.

    • pinoydin

because Lucifer (Satan) was once an angel … corrupted the other angels, so God cast them out from heaven

  • simondj

the muslim keep on bombming because they are being deceived by their imams.

    • Josephine Parico

Also because they are so ENVIOUS of Western culture. Mga INGGITERO kasi. Kung naiinggit, eh di itapon na kasi mga BARBARIC at STONE AGE culture nyo. Itapon nyo n rin religion nyo. Religion ng DEMONYO. Pwe!!

      • Julio7

Don’t hate so much Josephine, don’t hate.

Not our fault we have a better lifestyle than you and don’t dwell in a flea infested schithole like the one you come from.

F ags like you h ate even yourself, let alone the rest of civilization.

The only thing you are touching is yourself………day in and day out.

        I know, it hurts.

      • Josephine Parico

Oh really? Better lifestyle? Oh I see. Muslims indeed have better lifestyle for they:

1.) have their wives CONSTANTLY BEATEN and that is justifiable according to their holyshit Koran.
2.) Female children as old as 6 can be married.
3.) Female children as old as 9 can be forced to engage in sex (in accordance to their prophet Muhammad’s raping of 9 year old Aisha)
4.) Wives are considered second class citizens and can be sexually attacked by men provided no more than 4 witnesses are there. The muslim rapist can still evade the crime.
5.) Muslim women are considered properties of men and hence must always wear the niqab.

Oh I can actually enumerate superior lifestyles these Muslims enjoy courtesy of their Koran and Prophet Muhammad’s tradition. Yeah, better with regards to the Stone Age mentality.[end of sarcasm]

        Seriously! Nyahahahahahah

      • Julio7

Yes, we have better lifestyle specially for a woman. We give dignity of our women higher that you have.

        1. If you are unfaithful wife who committed adultery then we have the right to beat you. You can’t be a whore!
2.False – Christian nation have the lowest age for marriage. Check the wiki.

        3. Fabrication. Christian nation at the age of 9 engaged in sex. Check the internet, statistics for teen pregnancy in US, UK, France and Australia.

        4. False. Wives are so precious to Muslim and are securely protected. To accuse woman of adultery, you must produce 4 eyewitnesses.

        5. Hijab/Niqab is required by God not by Muslim men to protect from nasty eyes.

      • aris alfaro

…i’m not with parico, but the examples are quite valid. muslim women are’nt treated fairly. case in point, they cant be allowed to drive compared in other countries. another is forced or arranged marriages. seriously, what the hell is up with that? would you allow you daughter to be in a forced/arranged marriage deal? i think not. another one is when a muslim woman gets raped. almost always i hear or read stories about the rapists roaming around freely. what the hell! another is the burqa. no need to wonder what it’s like to wear one under extreme weather conditions. and have you guys seen the taliban hitting women with wooden sticks on the streets of kabul for not wearing one or some other minor offense. c’mon. i’m not saying islam is bad. it’s just that they should at least show some rationality/common sense. and yes, most terrorists are muslims, and that screws up the other peaceful/rational followers coz it gives them a bad rep. but those terrorists are the extreme ones, irrationally screwed in the head.

      • Julio7

Thanks Aris for the question. I would like to answer you in an intellectual manner than Josephine. Though my answer may be long because you have brought these issue at one time.

“ ..women are not treated fairly” – I can explain so much for you, but you mention about driving. In this case, you are referring to Saudi Arabia. The reason the women can’t drive in Saudi is purely a national law but not an Islamic law. Muslim women can drive in Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, etc. This is an obvious failure of an individual to criticize Islam being confused of religious law. However, I will also answer you why Saudi doesn’t allow women to drive – for simple reason: they do not want their women, wife, and daughter to die on the road– which will leave family/children to orphan. They have limited population and a wealthy country that can afford to hire chauffeur. It makes sense for me.

“forced or arranged marriages” – I must accept this is a culture of some Muslim but not an outright culture for Islam. The Quran emphasize the right to choose a mate. Islam recommends that while putting forth marriage proposals, the likes and dislikes of the woman must be seriously considered. None, not even the father, has the right to marry off his daughter to a person whom she dislikes. Prophet Muhammad had said, “The widow is not to be given in marriage without her consent. The virgin is not to be given in marriage without consulting her for her acceptance. Her silence constitutes her acceptance.”. Some Muslim had defect for not understanding the Quranic text or what the messenger said, but purely driven by their past culture (what had been seen from their ancestor). I can’t force my daughter against her will and this is not
acceptable being a parents. Even for men, my parents cannot force me to marry for what I don’t want.

“Burqa” – This wearing is not recommended by Islam other than veil. Note, there is a difference between the two. The Islamic dress code is never the symbol of slavery. On the contrary, a little reflection will convince one that it is, in fact, the symbol of modesty. It is true that Islam commands woman to cover all her body parts save for her face and forehands. Why has this command been made? The Qur’anic verses which make the Islamic dress code compulsory provide clear answers to these questions. They go as follows: “O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters and the believing women that they should cast their outer garments over their persons: that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (33:59)

The real objective of asking the woman to adopt a decent mode of dressing becomes quite clear from these verses. (1) That they may be recognized. (2) That they be not molested.

Those who live or work in different fields in society do adopt certain patterns of dressing in order that they are identified likewise. As far as women are concerned, it is possible, to a certain extent, to assess their way of life and character from the very pattern of dress that they adopt.

Prostitutes dress in such fashion as to enable those in need of them to identify them. The Devadasis who were attached to temples had, for purposes of identification, their own way of dressing. It may also
be seen that the Hetaerae of Greece, the Chin kuwan Jen of China and the Gaishes of Japan – all had their own ways of dressing. They could all be identified by this code of apparel. Those in need of them could also be invited thereby.

The ideal woman as envisioned by Islam is modest and pious; chaste and virtuous – she is never approached by sex starved wolves; is not advanced upon by any with pleas for sexual gratification. This must all be discernible from her dressing itself. That prostitutes were to sit by windows with their breasts uncovered was a prescription in the legal code of fifteenth century Venice. It was indeed, a prescription for judging the quality of the available goods for those sex starved persons who came to satisfy their craving! How strange, indeed, it
is that modern day women should have as their attire those that resemble the ones used by the prostitutes of yesteryear to attract the possible users of their bodies. The Qur’an, however, recommends that believing women and those who sell their bodies must be clearly distinguishable from each other and that, too, by the clothes that they wear.

“Re:most terrorist are Muslim” – a complete distortion of truth. Though there are Muslim terrorist, we can’t label most of them. If our measurement is the number of people doing the act, then we can say that most Christians are terrorist also. Just look up most of the criminals around the world and the countries that have most crimes against the humanity. US and Western countries bombing innocent civilian by drone is a terrorist act. Israel killing innocent Palestinian civilian is a terrorist act. But why label only Muslim as a terrorist?

      • april lim

Hmm I would have to agree with Julio7 here.. You’re so full of hatred, Lahat ng religion may flaws at lahat may ginawang mali i.e pumatay. Im not defending Islam or what and neither do I care bout sa views mo but know how to respect others so that in return i-rerespect ka din ng iba. May freedom of speech ka yes, but know kung san un limit mo and you have no right to insult other people and their religion.. Respect is EARNED dear. And no hindi ako Islam, Christian ako difference natin eh marunung akong rumespeto. And by the way that statement wont really make you look good or bright just an angry person lang who has no regards sa iba.

  • Estee Muri

Sad to say that these two brothers had fallen to the wrong RADICAL Islam Believers. I do not think that Islam is about killing people. Such young mind are so vulnerable to be influenced by those so-called Islam Jihadists.. I just wonder as to why those Radical Muslim use Islam as a tool to wage war against innocent people. It will remain a question . I believe the Imam must preach to their followers that Killing innocent people is not the Objective of Allah. Those Radical Muslim have TWISTED MINDS .

    • Josephine Parico

ISLAM is a faulty religion and should be blamed. That is the truth.

      • Hurtlocker1

so bold of you to say that.

      • Josephine Parico

I am just truthful. It’s the truth.

      • Julio7

That’s so immature lady attitude. Grow-up.

      • Josephine Parico

No, Muslims must grow a pair of balls and face their enemies head on. Declare openly a war with the WEST and let us see who will disappear from the face of the Earth.

Seriously, it will be the roaches who will disappear. Nyahahahhaha

      • Julio7

Is Muslim at war with West? I am sorry with your attitude, because there are many American Muslim, Australian Muslim, French Muslim that do not share with your mentality. Islam is not against the West. Are you being confused? Tell me honestly why brag ALL Muslim in your argument being enemies of the West?

Even you are now with the West (say you live in USA), you must be ashamed of being the warmonger. What an arrogant lady.

      • Julio7

No, that’s plain ignorant, stereo-typing, racial profiling and bashing.

      • Josephine Parico

Call a spade a spade. No more sugar-coating.

      • Guest

wow, Ms. Parico. Just wow. I’ve read through your vitriolic, islamophobic comments. Superb ang racial profiling at stereotyping mo. Winner na winner ka dito sa thread. Keep it up hanggang magsawa ka. Nakakasawa ang mga racists. Dime a dozen kasi. They’re everywhere, mga mal-educated, spiteful bunch–people like you. Perhaps, one day, you’ll become educated enough at matauhan ka. Or is it already too late? Beyond reasoning ka na ba? You should know that there are people who are mentally ill, mga aggressive–that’s beyond race, beyond religion, beyond whatever personal belief.

      • Josephine Parico

Mga AGGRESSIVE ba kamo? Eh di ba mga MUSLIM yun? MUSLIM=TERRORISTS!!!!!

      • april lim

dont know but malamang may nanyari dati dahil un hatred mo sa religion na yan eh sobra and it’s quite alarming.. :)) and stop assuming na tama ka din. Totoo lang sa religion wala man talagang tumatama.. but RESPECT is important kahit san, which you lack. No offense but sana matuto ka rumespeto ng iba.

Ayon kina Christopher Dobson at Ronald Payne, authors ng The Terrorists, their Weapons, Leaders and Tactics: “What really makes a terrorist? Some come to it by chance, some by design that leads to this particular form of destruction. All terrorists share a common heritage: they have all come under the influence of those political thinkers who preach that violence is essential to make the world a better place for the masses.”

His dreary eyes, stares like Bin Laden… Saintly deceiving …..

Another sad day for the world, but sadder still when we refuse to turn to the One who came to destroy evil. He destroyed evil by dying on the cross, paying its penalty, and offering to all, his gift of grace. Every time we see the ugliness of evil, we are reminded about the original creation, perfect, but destroyed by sin. His coming brought redemption and since then he is moving the world towards restoration.

Traitors.. They sought asylum but they bit the country that helped them. That means these people should not be trusted. Reform US immigration now. No more people coming from these countries, no Moslems.. thats it..

    • Josephine Parico

Absolutely, right. The WEST should never accept Muslim immigrants. Accept them only when they convert to other religions. The requirement for visa applicant should be to eat PORK and spit on the picture of Muhammad. Pag nag-react violently, alam na. Terrorist yun.

      • Julio7

        Bigot on the loose.

      • Julio7

Your post wreaks of desperation. If only we could see the look on your utterly despondent face now, It would be priceless.

Before calling me terrorist, you have to prove that I’ve done criminal things or favoring/supporting the terrorist. I have proven that your opinion toward Islam and Muslim is purely on hatred and ignorant of the fact, beyond comprehension of a good lady and future mother of the youth. What values and morality are you going to teach to your children? Indeed, you will only breed more haters, haters and haters.

      • Josephine Parico

To tell you the truth the muslims are the most ungrateful people in the whole world…they not only bite the hand that feeds them… they devour your whole body or gobble you up like a snake does.. other countries should learn not to give them refuge.
