CEBU CITY, Philippines — Veteran actress Susan Roces will finally appear in a television advertisement to endorse the senatorial bid of her daughter, Grace Poe.

“I save the one that knows me the best for last,” said Poe, who is running under Team PNoy.

She said her “ultimate” celebrity endorser would be her mom, who would appear with her in a TV ad probably next week in what could be her last political ad before the May 13 elections.

“Yun na lang yung final. Magastos e,” she told Manila-based reporters in an interview here on Friday.

She refused to say the details of the ad but hinted that it would revolve around her personality in the eyes of her mother.

“Syempre sya ang nanay ko alam
nya ang aking pagkatao, kung sino ako,” she said.

Poe sees nothing wrong with showbiz personality endorsing candidates so long as they share the same advocacies.

She cited as example her endorsment by actress Carmina Villaroel, who she said has been supportive of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.

Poe used to head to the MTRCB until she decided to run for senator.

ang partido dahil grassroots or local political leaders and sekreto para
    manalo.

    1. Cojuangco’s NPC – they have just proven that the coalition with
the administration is nothing more than a “piece of paper now” per Rep.
Mark Cojuangco’s statement before and as proudly announced by it’s
Spokesman Rex Gatchalian in the Pangasinan rally, that they are going
    straight UNA;

    2. Koko Pimentel is the lone person who joins the coalition. His party chose to honor it’s commitment with UNA;

    3. Villar’s NP – Hati but most local leaders are going for UNA owing
to the vilification of the Villar’s in the past presidential election by
    PNoy’s LP;

    4. Lakas CMD – only carries three LP vets including Bam Aquino whose
father Paul Aquino was a known point man of GMA and in fact, GMA’s
campaign manager. Truth is that Bam Aquino chose to stuck it with GMA
even after the Hello Garci scandal as her official representing the
    Youth.

    5. No need to explain what party will the Marcoses Solid North will support because it’s obvious.

Answer they can rely heavily on two things:

    1. SWS and Pulse Asia manufactured surveys:
    2. Followed up by hocus PCOS miracle.

Don’t count PNoy’s charisma because it is already proven to be a dud.
Laging nilalangaw yong political campaign sorties niya kahit lagi
siyang present. And that’s the bottom line.

      bitter ka pre?

      • speaksoftlylove

Eat your SWS and Pulse Asia poison.

You are not even aware that Edward Hagedorn placed 6th in two mock polls held in UP. Ask Mareng Winnie.

      • ernievictory

UP is not the Philipines , ahole !

      • 33Sambuang2

Walang basehan ang straight Team UNA or straight Team Pnoy. WALA! Panaginip lang yun!

      • speaksoftlylove

        Ikaw ba yan Mahal Mangahas?

Bakit mo itinatago ang financiers mo, ayaw mong mabuko?

      • crisostomo_ibarra_the3rd

        Nagpapatawa ka, wala namang matawa.

being a long time susan and ronnie’s fan doesn’t mean i will vote for you….platforms are impotant to me….you haven’t told the public what you will do, if you are elected…tell us, not as the “daughter” of ronnie and susan, but as a public servant, what you will do, how you will spend your yearly PH200 million pork barrel and will the whole island be benefited with it…..then, i might consider voting for you and tell my family to vote for you too, and my friends to tell their friends, etc. to put you in their ballots…..do that and the voters will appreciate you for that….but don’t make it as a campaign promise…you have to make a solemn vow that you will spend it for the benefits of us, filipinos…..and once you are elected…start showing the progress of your promises…..and the filipino people will reelect you and you might even be elected as president if you aim for it…..good luck….i want to hear your reaction on this……

    will not vote for her.

i set a higher standard for her to reach since she is a Poe. lots of things were provided to her. she got the name already. i’d go for those who struggled to make a name.

    • Shirley

so may i know who are included in your list? you sound like a very intelligent person. let’s see if the candidates who are in it really posses your high standard.

    • labcu

      who are they?

    • Nelson Baguya II

i GUESS A “BOSTON GRADUATE” would be seemingly enough to include her in my list.

  • Guest

Bwahahaha!

  • virgoyap

Had she been in the UNA I’ll never vote for her. Now I have the inclination to vote for her.

  • disqusted0fu

There has to be better qualifications in running for a position in the government than just being a son/daughter of a famous celebrity or politician. That way we can ensure quality public service that all Filipinos deserve

  • Rogers Nelson Uy
