Binay arrives at proclamation rally site of reelectionist son
MANILA, Philippines—Vice President Jejomar Binay has arrived at the proclamation rally of his son who is seeking reelection as mayor of Makati City in the coming May polls.
Binay arrived at the corner of Chino Roces Avenue and P. Ocampo Street around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.
He is expected to speak in front a crowd, estimated by the police to be at 3,000, at 11 p.m. to personally endorse the reeelction bid of Mayor Jejomar Erwin “Junjun” Binay.
As of posting, the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) senatorial bets present at the rally are Nancy Binay, Mitos Magsaysay, and Jack Enrile.
Makati City has been a known bailiwick of the Binay clan for years.
