Fire hits pizza parlor in Mall of Asia

By |

MANILA, Philippines—Three workers were injured when fire hit a pizza parlor in the Mall of Asia in Pasay City on Tuesday, a city fire officer said.

Senior Fire Officer 2 Ryan Lanuzga said fire broke out at the pizza parlor after its pressure fryer exploded around 10:45 a.m.

Three parlor workers sustained minor burns when they tried to put out the fire. They were given first aid at the mall’s clinic.

Lanuzga said the fire didn’t reach an alarm because it was put out just a few minutes after it broke out.
