SEOUL – The US military said Monday it had deployed stealth fighters to South Korea as part of an ongoing joint military exercise that has triggered dire North Korean threats of armed retribution.

Two F-22 Raptor fighters arrived in the South on Sunday to participate in the annual “Foal Eagle” exercise that will last until April 30, a spokesman for the US forces in South Korea told AFP.

The jets were reportedly flown out of the US air base in Okinawa, Japan.

Although it is not the first time F-22s have been used in the annual drill, their presence is sure to further infuriate Pyongyang at a time of sharply escalating military tensions.

North Korea has already threatened to strike the US mainland and US bases in the Pacific in response to the participation of nuclear-capable US B-52 and B-2 stealth bombers in this year’s “Foal Eagle” exercise.

On Saturday, North Korea declared it had entered a “state of war” with South Korea and warned Seoul and Washington that any provocation would swiftly escalate into an all-out nuclear conflict.

South Korea and the United States have met the near-daily threats from Pyongyang with their own warnings of severe repercussions, fuelling international concern that the situation might spiral out of control.

LOS ANGELES [March 31, 2013]—The closer South and North Korea gets to
REUNITE [like East and West Germany did]—the more it strikes fear in
the heart of Japan….So with CIA help, anti North Korea CIA propaganda
goes on overdrive—to brainwash the people of the world…..

Just imagine what a UNITED KOREA can do to Japan’s dominance….look at
Samsung, Hyundai and other South Korean companies that are giving even
US and Japanese companies a run for their money…….with the North’s
“cheap” labor force in the millions…..a UNITED KOREA will definitely
    change the world…..specially in Asia…..

You all dumb donkeys. Japan is investing in China, Korea, Philippines and all over the world. The same thing with USA and Europes. Things are designed and planned somewhere for example in the US and sent mostly to China for manufacturing. There’s a lot of technology transfer going on, so the same thing with South Korea and Japan. Japanese car designers and engineers work in South Korean car manufacturers to improve quality of their cars.
Filipinos are not that quick to take advantage of technology transfer, they’re quick at easy money not the long term good of the country.
Filipinos are gadget freak, like toys or candy they never have before like you just came from the province countrysides and never seen the city before.

    • koolkid_inthehouse

A what? China is already doing havoc on US economy get rid of your blinders. No wonder you can’t see communist building bridges in the US of A.

Expect the NKs will say more bellicose words in a few hrs once they know of the arrival of these stealth fighters. This whole mess started after WW 2 when the north and south Korea were formed at the 38 th parallel by the Powers at the Yalta Conference.

On the other hand the brutal Japs who occupied Korea from 1910-1945 had used the Koreans as slaves and conscripts into the Jap Imperial Army. Koreans were in part serving the Japo Masters during WW 2 . They were participants to the crimes of WW 2.
Most of them committed unspeakable crimes to please the Jap masters. Most were prison guards who tortured Allied forces captured in the Pacific.

    • http://www.facebook.com/kung.tufo Kung Tufo Tufo

North Korea is the creation of China. Starved his people, while his masters are enjoying the money and investment of the West. 6 Million North Koreans killed by embracing Mao Zedong stupid ideology.

      • Crazy_horse101010

and from 50 to 79 million chinese dead. 30 million during the cultural revolution. by the red guard

      • http://www.facebook.com/kung.tufo Kung Tufo Tufo

You’re right! Not only that killings still there until now. Mao Zedong is a hero for them. What kind of world/mind they had. Are they poisoned???? or simply Stupidity?

    • Crazy_horse101010

both stalin and mao created north korea there was supposed to be el ections by the people to decide their future which never happened. do you hide under your bed at night afaraid the japanese are coming to snatch you . maybe i should get hysterical since the commies killed my grandfather and grandmother . they were tortured then shot .in russia. is that like the chinese torturing pows in the korean war. the death of american pows by japanese 38 percent chinese 46 percent. so who is the worse. and who in the hell cares what your bed pardners the north says. .

  • jgl414567

Go ahead USA take out Km Jung Un just like Bin Laden so that the North will be a free nation once and for all! Enough of this tyrant, spoiled brat!

  • Htee

Expect a lot more koreans to come to our land. They have been preparing for this event for soooo long.

  • KarlosRegaza

Later, China will deploy its fake fighters in support to NK.

  • wakats

Pyongyang is all bluff and gives the US and South Korea ample time to reinforce their defenses, as well as offensive weapons.

Time for Kim Jun Un to change his tactics as they’re not working anymore – unlike before when he was given food aids and heavy water for his nuclear reactors…..

    • http://twitter.com/gfarishta gibreel farishta

i’d say, cut out his tactics altogether. tactics ‘is’ too threat based.. try laying out a strategy base on scenario..

  • billy gunner

maybe the US can infiltrate NK and send the best SEALS team to take out kim?

  • doublecross

akala nyo fiesta eto, war ang katapat nito. kaya ingat ang US, dhl bka matira nila ang vested interest sa SK. NK….pulbusin mo ang US!

The photo is definitely not an actual an F-22 Raptor which was cut and pasted from a Google Image of the said aircraft. The belly of the F-22 Raptor is classified even during airshows that it is always high away from cameras.

    • http://twitter.com/gfarishta gibreel farishta

why would they ‘airshow’ a stealth plane when this is supposed to be, well, stealth? :)

  • koolkid_inthehouse

Time to get rid of that fat dough boy at any cost. Let the Chinese enter into the equations so that Philippine can setup Chinese concentration camps and that will be the same all over the world.

  • doublecross

bomb those f-22, they scare the small country….

    • dodong1

what do you mean?? bomb the f-22???? what are you saying it does not make sense at all.

  • dodong1

B1B assigned @ dyess, B-52 assigned in Guam, U2 assigned at Beale, B-2, F-22, F18 assigned on an aircraft carrier on its way to the Pacific, F16 in kunsan and osan, F-15 assigned in Okinawa, M1 tank assigned on different bases in Korea..these arsenal of fire power is just a few that the U.S. have and WE ARE READY TO KICK NORTH KOREA’S A$$E$$$$…

  • bongwater420

The United States would probably have based a squadron of F22s at Clark Air
base in the Philippines… but thanks to the Philippine politicians for
kicking out the USA, those jets are instead based at Kadena AB in Okinawa. And the U.S
has made it clear it will protect its bases and the allies hosting those
bases i.e. Japan, South Korea. Since Clark and Subic are no more,
it is Singapore and Australia, who are now getting the political and economic benefits of a presence of U.S.
    force

    • http://twitter.com/gfarishta gibreel farishta

how can we be so sure there are no f22s in clark? that’s why it is called stealth.. :)

  • WeAry_Bat

    Pikon talo.

  • MonMayuga

Once the bellicose North Koreans attack South Korea and/or bomb US bases anywhere, we imagine a swarm-like deluge of men and machine rushing to the south like a tsunami. This can only be stopped by superior weaponry of the allies. Once it happened there is no stopping them. The allies (US and South Korea) should bomb to smithereens all military bases of the North and the seat of power there and free the North Korean people from the tight grasp of its dictatorial rulers.

  • dante74911

hahhahaha..USA is using a stealth bomber plane to frighten Nokor..make it aware that USA is in the Nokor region ,,Nokor cant just fire a bomb at sokor without retaliation from US..Isnt a stealth plane meant to be camouflage/secret/undectected//I think they are using
the wrong plane..Maybe rename this planes into displayed plane not stealth plane

  • http://twitter.com/gfarishta gibreel farishta

and you believe they deployed 2? that’s why it is called stealth!

If North Korea gets into war..the USA is expected to be happy to join… It is better to export war than do it in their soil..(USA). For me both Koreas are the same blood. They differ only on lifestyle…..but for sure they are worst boss in the world..so if war ever happen, I hope USA will do the right thing.
