Guns, bullets seized

/ 09:39 PM March 25, 2013

Police seized five guns and bullets from the houses of a dance instructor and his brother during simultaneous police operations in Barangay Sta. Cruz in Guimba town on Saturday.

Two shotguns, a 9mm-cal. machine pistol and two .45-cal. pistols were recovered from the houses of Dante Bacolor, a dance instructor, and of his elder brother, Rogelio, a farmer.

Police arrested Rogelio but Dante was not at home when the police raided his house at about 6:30 a.m. Supt. Ricardo Villanueva, chief of the police’s provincial public safety company, said Judge Celso Baguio of the Gapan City regional trial court issued the search warrants against the Bacolor brothers.
