P3M in property destroyed in Pasig hardware store fire
MANIILA, Philippines — Millions of pesos worth of property went up in smoke when fire gutted a hardware store in Pasig City late Wednesday, a city fire officer said Thursday.
Sergeant Norberto Lakap said fire blazed through the Big Ortigas construction and electrical supply store at 168 Ortigas Avenue, Sta. Lucia around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The fire reached first alarm before it was completely put out at 11:05 p.m.

He said investigators have yet to determine the origin and cause of fire, but added that roughly P3 million-worth of properties were destroyed.
No one was hurt, Lapak added.
