Team PNoy in General Santos as Aquino expected to join campaign

GENERAL SANTOS CITY, Philippines — Team PNoy senatorial bets campaigned here on Wednesday with President Benigno Aquino III expected to join them later.
Re-electionist Senator Aquilino “Koko”Pimentel III, former Senators Ramon Magsaysay Jr., and Maria Ana “Consuelo” Jamby Madrigal, Aquino’s cousin Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV and former Representative Risa Hontiveros were present when the rally held at the city’s gym began shortly before 10 a.m.
Some candidates were again represented by family members.
Aquino was scheduled to arrive at 11:30 am.
Pimentel, like in previous sorties, belted out again his version of “Imagine” popularized by John Lennon.
The team was in Tacurong City, Tupi and Polomok, South Cotabato Tuesday and held three separate sorties there.
From General Santos, the team will then proceed to Davao to conclude its three-day campaign trail in the region.
