Former policeman shot to death
A FORMER policeman was shot to death by an unidentified assailant while walking home in barangay Cogon-Pardo, Cebu City, yesterday morning.
Raul Guinita was first shot in the head. When he slumped on the ground, the gunmen finished him off with two more shots.
The gunman, who wore a helmet, fled on board a motorcycle, said police.

The motive of the attack is still being investigated, said PO3 Wetzel Berry, homicide investigator of the Cebu City police.
Berry said Guinita was a former policeman assigned in Talisay City. He was dismissed from service in the early ’90s for going on absence without leave. CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
