Fire at Manila Film Center put out

MANILA, Philippines—A fire gutted a portion of the Manila Film Center in Pasay City, but was put out three hours later, a Bureau of Fire-National Capital Region officer said Tuesday evening.
Fire Officer Berdin Marylet said first responders sent to put out the fire at the building’s Amazing Theater were dispatched at 6:53 p.m.
The fire reached the fifth alarm before it was put out at 9:50 p.m.
She said investigators have yet to identify the origin and cause of the blaze.—Jamie Marie Elona
