2 additional slides for Plaza Independencia playground
THE playground area in Plaza Independencia would now be an ideal place for family bonding after the park acquired two new additional slides.
Senior Trade Commission Ellen Ruth Zeisler of the Consulate General of Canada gave the amenities to Colin’s Play Area, through its partner Vicsal Foundation Inc. (VSF).
The play area is named after Zeisler’s 7-year old son who died due to an arterial disease.
VSF president Dr. Edward Gaisano, together with Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and officials of the Parks and Playground Commission and barangay captains, led the inauguration of the Colin’s Play Area recently.
VSF, a corporate foundation of Metro Gaisano chain of stores that facilitates the project, hopes to get more equipment for the playground.
