MANILA, Philippines—San Juan City Representative Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito said Tuesday that the “Estrada” surname was among the factors that helped improve his popularity rating as he vie for a Senate seat.
In an interview with Radyo Inquirer 990AM, Ejercito said his rating improved from 5 to 7 percent.
“May asim pa din talaga ang Estrada factor ,” he said.
The congressman earlier said he would drop Ejercito surname and will instead use Estrada in his campaign for the upcoming midterm elections.
