Twelve boxers shine in ALA-Summit amateur boxing

TWELVE amateur boxers flashed their immense boxing talent last Sunday night when they emerged victorious in the second installment of the ALA-Summit Natural Drinking Water Fight Night Amateur Boxing Series.at the Gaisano Country Mall car park.

In the Novice division, Ferland Alibo of Sipalay City beat Rio Deguma of Mandaue City; Jonrey Machumoto defeated fellow Mandaue City fighter Christian Bautista; John Razkin of Maasin City dumped Nilo Butayta of the Philippine Australian Boxing Club; and Ritchie Montealto of UV Boxing Team outlasted Sherwin Quimada of Toledo City.

In the Juniors division, Jun Nunez of Flores Boxing Club won against Rico Ebarle of Maasin City and Mark Rotilles of Phil Australian Boxing Club triumphed against Jacon Becong of Maasin City.

Winners in the premier Experienced division were Christian Bacolod of Cabancalan National High School against Jeffrey Stella of Philippine Australian Boxing Club; Jeo Santesima of Masbate against Vincent Casido of Dumaguete Ciy; Mardie Mauna of Cabancalan Elementary School over Cherwellan Cantel of Cabancalan National High School; Aldrin Santesima of Masbate City against JJ Rostea of Cubacub Mandaue; Elmo Traya of Cabancalan Elementary School over Dann Lou Codilla of UV Boxing Team; and Melvin Besinga over fellow UV Boxing Team member Robert Labansa. /PR with Correspondent Dale Rosal
