Schoolkids take center stage in cooking fest
AS part of the Nutrition Month celebration in July, the Nancy Berame Childcare Center in Lapu-Lapu City conducted a cooking festival last July 23.
The activity was intended to instill in the children the importance of eating nutritious food.
The schoolchildren prepared two recipes with less supervision from their teachers.

The morning activity featured chewy munchkins prepared by the pupils from nursery 1 and 2, kinder 1 and 2 and grades 1 and 2.

In the afternoon, pupils from grades 1 and 2 cooked creamy champorado.
The NBCC students did not only enjoy the preparation and the tasting portion of the activity but also gained knowledge on the importance of one’s nutrition.
