BACOLOD CITY, Philippines—Six teenagers were rescued by the police from hazing by fraternity men at a house in Barangay (village) Alijis, Bacolod City, on Thursday.

The teenagers, aged 18, 17 and 16, whose names were withheld by the police, are residents of the cities of Silay, Victorias, Talisay and Bacolod and the towns of Murcia and La Castellana, Bacolod police Station 7 commander Chief Inspector Levy Pange said.

Pangue said that they received information from a barangay official that young men were being subjected to hazing in a house at the ECC Villas in Barangay Alijis.
