Cold front to bring light rain in Visayas, Mindanao–Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Light to moderate rains will continue in Visayas and Mindanao due to a diffused tail-end of a cold front affecting Eastern Visayas, the state weather bureau said Thursday.

Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Northeast monsoon or hanging amihan will prevail in Luzon.

Bicol region, Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy skies with brief light rains.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the archipelago and the coastal waters will be moderate to rough, Pagasa said.
