Twelve third-year law students of De La Salle University (DLSU) recently served as court marshals in the High Court of Hong Kong as part of the school’s student exchange program with the University of Hong Kong (HKU) Faculty of Law.

Under the program from Jan. 2 to 14, which aimed to provide them with hands-on experience in handling international law, the students helped judges in drafting court decisions.

They were also mentored by different judges and professors in Hong Kong and attended seminars on international law. DLSU College of Law vice dean Jocelyn Cruz said they would be eyeing other partnership programs with HKU.
