Today, Jan. 21, is the 130th birth anniversary of former Senate President Eulogio Rodriguez Sr. Commonly known as “Amang,” he served as mayor of Manila in 1923 and 1940. He died at the age of 81 on Dec. 9, 1964. The Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina City was named after him. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
