Don Bosco teams log victories

Five Don Bosco teams were able to hurdle past their opponents in yesterday’s action of the 15th Aboitiz Football Cup at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

In the Players 8, Don Bosco C extends its winning streak to two with a 1-0 outsmarting of Canduman while Don Bosco 4 nails its second straight win with a 2-1 edging of Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS).

In the Players 10, Don Bosco 1 won all of its two matches. In its first match, the team routed Dinamo, 5-1, while it inflicted a 2-0 blanking of Centre for International Education (CIE) B in its second game.

In the Boys 12, Don Bosco 1 annihilated CIE, 10-0, while Don Bosco 2 lambasted SRP FC, 2-0.

Other winners in the Players 8 are Bright Academy who triumphed with a 7-1 drubbing of Don Bosco A, Bright Minds in Action Learning Village (BMALV) who blanked Don Bosco 2, 2-0, Warzhockz who pocketed an easy 2-0 against Don Bosco 1 who defaulted, Hijas de Jesus who demolished Don Bosco D, 17-0, and Ateneo de Cebu who completed an 11-0 routing of Don Bosco F.

Also adding to their wins in the Players 10 are Warshockz who benefited from Don Bosco 3′s no-show, 2-0, while Canduman showed its supremacy with a 9-0 thrashing of Don Bosco 3.

The other two matches in the Boys 12 was won by Springdale, who trampled CPMS ,16-0, and Hijas de Jesus who streaked past Don Bosco 3 with a 4-1 victory.

In the Boys 14, Springdale teams had contrasting fates with Springdale A lambasting Hijas de Jesus, 13-0, while Springdale B bowed to Subangdaku 0-15. The other match was won by Ateneo against Don Bosco 1, 3-0.
