Fire hits residential area in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines –Fire struck a residential area in Pasay City, reaching the highest alert level as of 8:20 p.m., fire officials said.
The blaze began at 6:35 p.m. at the Merville access road at Block 2, Lot 26, Kalayaan village. The city fire station sent five fire trucks so far, augmented by those from neighboing Paranaque city, to put out the fire.
No casualties have been reported as of this posting.
