MANILA, Philippines—Bad weather in northern Mindanao resulted in the cancellation of four Cebu Pacific flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on Thursday.
Canceled were Butuan City-bound flights 5J-787, set to leave around 1 p.m., and 5J-791, set to leave 1:30 p.m. Their respective return flights, set to arrive around 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., were also canceled.
Flooding caused by the recent Tropical Depression “Bising” had caused significant damage in Butuan, leading the city council there to declare a state of calamity.
