1 killed, 1 injured in Alabang car crash

MANILA, Philippines – One person was reported killed after a vehicular accident on the Alabang Viaduct early Friday.
The incident occurred 5:22 am along the northbound lane of the Alabang Viaduct according to personnel of the skyway management which responded to the scene.
A concrete barrier was seen as the cause of the accident when the victims’ vehicle, an Isuzu IPV closed van with plate number XRT 222, crashed into it, skyway management said.
Police were quoted in a radio report as saying that the casualty was a 66 year old person while another person was injured and was brought to a nearby hospital.
The accident site has been cleared as of 7:05 am, the skyway management said.
Police authorities have not yet identified the casualties as of posting time.
