At least six Filipino babies were born at the stroke of midnight on Jan. 1, 2000. Of this number, a baby boy and a baby girl were declared by the Department of Health as winners in its search for the 21st Century Babies. The boy, Voughn Abuda, was born at Amang Rodriguez Medical Center in Marikina, while the girl, Milena de Leon, was born at Region I Medical Center in Dagupan City.
