Tesio tops Cetba Bowler of Year tilt

Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association’s (CETBA) ace lady kegler Salve Tesio emerged the best bowler in the recent CETBA “Bowler of the Year” tournament held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.

Tesio toppled 1,259 pins in the six-game finals. A “Bowler of the Month” winner this year, Tesio anchored her win in the last three games where she downed 222, 205 and 203 pinfalls respectively.

Coming in at second is Alexander Lagcao who totaled 1,214 pinfalls including a scorching 238 in the fifth round. Lagcao is also a CETBA bowler of the month winner.

Rounding off the top three bowlers for this year is Ronan Barredo who got downed 1,202 pins including a 208 in the fifth game.

Noel Tanyu settled at fourth with 1,185 pinfalls followed by Cynthia Uybengkee in the fifth with 1,137 pinfalls, Emie Osada in sixth with 1,136, Vivian Padawan placed seventh with 1,127, Bert Edillo landed in eighth spot with 1,122 pinfalls while Beth Ngo and Ed Dilla placed ninth and 10th respectively, with 1,116 and 1,099 pinfalls.

A total of 22 of CETBA’s best bowlers competed in the last tournament of the year.  /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
