Centcom holds rites for newly commissioned reserve military officers, anniversary

CENTRAL Command (Centcom) Deputy Commander Brig. Gen. Jonas Sumagaysay led the donning of ranks of newly commissioned officers of the 5th Technical and Administrative Brigade – Visayas (Reserve) Command last Dec. 10 at the Centcom headquarters in Camp Lapu-Lapu, Lahug, Cebu City.

Leading the list of the newly commissioned officers are Capt. Jose Marie Gochangco (reserve), and Capt. Wilbert Ching (reserve).

Col. Robert Theodore Romero (reserve), Commander, 5th Technical and Administrative Brigade-Visayas (Reserve), was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Medal, while Capt. Margarita Yu (reserve) received the Military Merit Medal.

During the 11th anniversary of Centcom last Dec. 11, the reserve command was cited and given a plaque of recognition for its various civil-military operations.

Lt. Gen. Noel Coballes, Vice Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, was the guest of honor and speaker.
