MANILA, Philippines – Fire hit a commercial building near the New Divisoria Mall early Monday morning and injured at least three people, according to radio reports.

The reports said that as of 5:45 a.m., the fire at the three-story Sun Master Building at Tabora St. reached Task Force Charlie.

Initial investigation showed that the fire started a little past midnight and the situation was described as “confined.”

The building had been burning for more than six hours, the reports added.

Fire fighters could not yet confirm the cause of the fire, but the reports noted that it spread quickly because the building contained stockrooms that had combustible materials like office and school supplies, plastic toys and firecrackers.
