LITTLETON, Colorado — Relatives of those killed in at Colorado movie theater shooting this summer are reacting with outrage to Friday’s mass shooting at a Connecticut elementary school — and demanding that the nation finally address gun control.

Tom Teves lost his son, Alex, in the July 20 shooting during a screening of the latest Batman movie in the Denver suburb of Aurora. Teves insisted that there is no need for the public to have access to weapons like the one allegedly used by the gunman in Connecticut.

The latest mass shooting came a day after Colorado’s governor called on lawmakers to start debating gun control measures.

University of Colorado student James Holmes is accused of purchasing a semi-automatic rifle and other weapons before killing 12 people and wounding 70 others in July.

There is no beardy man in sky pressing buttons, nor a red man with horns, i can promise you.
since man has inhabited the earth there has been NO proof that magic exists and ALL religious artifacts have been shown to be fake. No religious sightings have ever been verified, it is probably all a fantasy. But I am sure that you are certain.
In ancient times, religions were forced on people, believe or die. the top people and top religious elite never follow the philosophies of their own “good books” and they frequently commit the gravest sins and immoralities. Good books conceived by primitive desert dwellers thousands of years ago.

getting back to the Connecticut shootings, a grave tragedy but nothing will change, this will happen again regularly in USA from time to time.

Gun control must be put into place. Monitoring and control is a function of any government. USA could not get rid of its culture as place of cowboys and American natives that was always at war then. We are in the 21st century yet the Americans feel they are still cowboy-wielding guys as they roam the streets of Wild, Wild, West. No tears from Pres Obama can solve the problem that videos, movies, cartoons depicting gun-toting characters like Clint Eastwood, Arnold, Tom Cruise, MIB, etc. has brought to their shores. The love for guns has overtaken American society and they are paying a high price for it.
