Canadian nabbed for ‘offensive e-mail’

A 66-YEAR-OLD Canadian with a pending arrest warrant was arrested  in barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City last Saturday night.

John David Aubin, a native of Vancouver Canada, is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9262 or the Violence Against Women and Children.

Aubin, who temporarily lived in Winland Towers in Juana Osmeña Extension Street, was detained at the Subangdaku police station.

The warrant was issued on Dec. 5 by Regional Trial Court Judge Teresita Abarquez-Galanida of Branch 56.
