MANILA, Philippines – Aurora Governor Bellaflor Angara-Castillo expressed relief that even though Tropical Storm “Juaning” (international codename: Nok-ten) toppled houses in her province, no one died.

In a 990AM interview Thursday, Angara-Castillo said that while the northern part of Aurora was devastated by the typhoon, the central and southern parts were spared.

“Pinakapinagpapasalamat namin ay meron ngang mga nasalantang bahay pero wala namang nawalang buhay [We are very thankful that even though houses were damaged, no one was killed],” the governor said.
