Police arrest boy accused of stealing bike in San Fernando



A 17-YEAR-OLD boy accused of stealing a motorcycle was arrested in barangay Pitalo, San Fernando town, southern Cebu.

Police said the boy was identified by Adelfa Alfanta, whose Honda motorcycle was stolen in barangay San Isidro last Wednesday.

Alfanta called the police after she spotted the boy talking with his alleged cohorts in an Internet shop past 9 p.m. last Thursday.

Police apprehended the boy but the two accomplices managed to escape.

SPO2 Victor Cuyno, desk officer of San fernando police, said the boy was also tagged as the culprit in a previous robbery in barangay North Poblacion, Naga City.

Police said they will coordinate with social workers on will take custody of the boy./ Correspondent Joy Cherry S. Quito
